CITAM Launches Position Papers on Contemporary Issues
On 6th February 2026, CITAM reached a meaningful milestone with the launch of its Position Papers put together in a book. This is a biblical reflection on contemporary issues that have been prayerfully and thoughtfully worked on for over 13 years.
This publication has truly been a labour of love. It brings together years of study, discussion, and careful reflection on how Scripture speaks into the realities believers face today, in areas such as life, family, faith, business, and more.
Under the leadership of Rev. Justus Mugambi, Deputy Bishop the project was carefully guided from vision to completion. Rev. Dr. Calisto Odede’s brought provided the much needed insight that brought clarity and depth to various issues, while Elder Boniface Musembi’s legal expertise played a critical role in shaping the final compilation.
The Position Papers are not presented as a final or flawless word, but rather as an important step toward growing awareness and understanding within the Church.
During the launch at CITAM Kadolta Resort, Senior pastors were encouraged to take time to study the book carefully and to share honest, constructive feedback. This openness to review is expected to help refine the content and guide the development of a possible second edition in the next future.
To make the resource accessible and practical, the Position Papers were released in two formats: a pocket-size edition for personal use, and a main copy that will be kept at the assembly level for shared study and discussion.
This launch marks a significant moment for CITAM which is a reflection of its desire to remain biblically grounded while thoughtfully engaging the times we live in. It is truly a milestone worth celebrating, and one for which the ministry gives thanks to the Almighty God.
