Bishop Odede pointed out on similar rogue pastors in the country who are profiteering from the congregants in the name of preaching the gospel.

The presiding bishop however decried the lack of goodwill from a section of independent churches who do not want to be regulated to avert the rise of cultic churches.

At the same time, Bishop Calisto pleaded with the Christian community and the country at large to not give up on the church because of a few individuals who are rogue.
