On Sunday, October 26th, 2025, the CITAM Romania community celebrated with deep gratitude the tenth anniversary of its existence. It was a day of joy, remembrance, and spiritual renewal. A day when every heart echoed the same confession of faith, “Thus far the Lord has helped us, ” (1 Samuel 7:12).
The event was designed as a moment of thanksgiving for all that God has done throughout these years, as well as a look ahead to what He has prepared for the future. For ten years, God has been writing His story through ordinary yet devoted people. From the very beginning, CITAM carried a prophetic motto: “We are writing history.” Looking back now, we can say that this history has been written with tears and prayers, with service and faith, with changed lives and restored families.
The leaders who laid the foundation of the church shared heartfelt testimonies, memories, and words of encouragement for the future. Each story stood as evidence of God’s faithfulness as a reminder that in both seasons of challenge and of joy, He has always been present and has carried the church forward.
All those who had been baptized over the past ten years, as well as those who, at some point in their lives, had been part of the community, were invited to this special gathering. It was an emotional reunion where generations came together in one voice of thanksgiving. The children offered a special song of praise that filled the room with joy and hope, and ministry partners and friends of the church joined in leading worship, enriching the celebration with depth and beauty.
The anniversary reached its highest point in a moment of grace and celebration: the water baptism of three people who publicly confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This powerful testimony served as a visible reminder that God’s work continues, that His hand is still at work, and that the story of grace moves forward.
After the service, everyone stayed for a fellowship meal, a warm and relaxed time of reconnecting, sharing memories, expressing gratitude, and rejoicing in the gift of community. It was a beautiful picture of the living, united body of Christ.
Looking back, the entire church can wholeheartedly declare, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” Looking ahead, the message remains the same, reflected in the new motto of the church, “We move forward.”
“We move forward with faith that God will continue to lead us, with a desire to remain a living, relevant, and dedicated church, one that continues to be a light in the community and a living testimony of God’s grace,” one of the leaders said.
The story of CITAM Romania is not over. God still has pages to write through this church, through its children, and through the generations yet to come.
